Donations

This past week my twitter and Facebook has been full of messages of people and teams doing events to fundraise for Mnd. It must be the summer season that gets us all out there using the positive energy to raise funds for the cause close to us.
But sadly I find that it is always the same people supporting each other. Almost like a closed community of funds.
Surely their has to be a way of drawing more people into this circle.
Cancer research has such a broad appeal, but then again the Cancer word evokes an emotional charge in many.
Could we do the same for MND.?
It relates back to awareness. I see an opportunity now with the new Stephen Hawkings movie. These opportunities should be seized .
Global campaigning should also focus attention on MND.
